Here's a little Lotr Rpg History/Mission.
The Lotr Rpg Forums Version 2.
As of February 13th the Second Version of the Lotr Rpg Forums opened. This is a ground breaking achievement for the Lotr Rpg Community because it gives us the opportunity to not only upgrade the software, but also a chance to upgrade all the services, features, and neat add-ons that are planned.

Why the Lotr Rpg Forums?
Some times I am asked, "Why did you create the Lotr Rpg Forums?" And there are times when I do not give a straight answer, simply leaving the subject open for ideas. Well, now I am ready to spill the beans. I first opened the Lotr Rpg Forums because I had once been a pilgrim, I had once searched for the perfect Lotr Forum. Needless to say, I never found what I was looking for. Eventually I stumbled upon Invisionfree Forums and it's hosting service. I grew accustomed to it and slowly learned all that a Forum Administrator should know, at least to start a forum.
It has almost been three years since I opened the Original Lotr Rpg Forums. It was begun with two or three other members I had brought with me from Palancar Valley on Invisionfree. With their help, I built Lotr Rpg Forums from the ground up as, what I envisioned, a good Lotr Rpg site should/could be. Of course the site was limited to my novice abilities, yet i persevered. As the Forum grew, so did my passion. I began to expand the forum and add neat codes/features. I enhanced the senses of the board to appeal to the true Lotr fan, like myself.
Through the years of toil I poured into the Original forum, I began to make plans and dream up an even better forum. With every upgrade I am proud to bring you--we step together--towards my vision of Lotr Paradise. For none of this would be possible if it weren't for the members and Rpg-ers that have joined my cause and supported me throughout the Forums' trials and Tribulations.
It is with great honor that i would like to thank you for helping me to introduce this new, this Version 2, Lotr Rpg Forums' board!
We are now a giant leap closer to my vision than I had ever dreamed possible and we continue to make the steps together. Help to support me as I raise you to the Lotr heavens. That is where my dream is, and you, the members, are what motivate me to continue my quest.
I will end with one final remark,
"...without its people, it would fail, and none would hear it tumble."
